Our RE Vision at Valley Primary 

At Valley Primary School we want children to develop a secure understanding of different religions and aim to promote curiosity and a love of learning through enquiry-based objectives.  We want to plan learning experiences that help our children to become independent and resilient, whilst enabling them to evaluate their own and others’ views in a reasoned and informed manner.  We aim to develop children’s respect for all, educating our children to be tolerant and accepting towards people with different beliefs and views to their own, as well as be valued members of the community.

 We believe Religion & Worldviews is important because it enables young people to express their own enquiring, informed and reflective views about beliefs and values. It is delivered in line with the Cumbrian Agreed Syllabus 2023.
