January 2021 - School Closure - Remote Learning Information

All pupils will be assigned daily tasks on Seesaw, our chosen online learning platform.  Parents have all received the log in details that they will need for Seesaw, alongside our other online learning programs, electronically.  If you need these to be sent again, please contact your child's Class Teacher.  We aim to cover all aspects of the curriculum, with a balance of online learning and screen-free activities, including those to support phsycal and mental wellbeing.  The children are all familiar with Seesaw, as we have used it in school prior to closure.  You can find a handy video to learn how Seesaw works below.

Your child will also be invited to join regular Microsoft Teams meetings, where they will get the chance to see their Class Teacher and Teaching Assistant, and their classmates.  Children will need their pupil email address and password (which has also been sent out electronically), to access their Microsoft Teams meetings.  Class Teachers will update parents via the Class Facebook Groups, to inform you of the meeting times.

Below, you will find a range of ideas to keep your children occupied at home - remember to read and practice times tables, but also to use this time to learn new skills together.  As a school, we are available to support you throughout this period of remote education.
